A lot of work to watch a game on TV
We attended Leslie Jones' first game at JerryWorld on Sunday, October 10, 2026. The remaining "seats" were only the party passes for party decks located in the end zones. We had a conversation with a stadium tour guide who explained how the party decks functioned. Following the advice, we headed to the top deck, where we wandered around the upper concourse and spent time at both ends.
Due to my height not being 6'6", I couldn't see the giant video screen, let alone the actual game. Only those who arrived early and claimed a spot along the few railings where viewing was allowed could see, but they would lose their spot when leaving for the restroom or concessions. Most individuals in the party decks preferred to sit on the floor or on padded seats and watch the game on 42" HD TVs, similar to the ones found in most households.
We managed to sneak up the access ramps to different upper-level sections, where we stood and observed until ushers asked us to leave, but the view was satisfactory. While standing at the top of the stairs, I was concerned that we might obstruct the view of fans behind us, yet I discovered that ALL the spectators were fixated on the giant HD screen rather than the live game. It seemed that about half of the stadium attendees were watching TV at any given moment...and most paid over $150 for this experience.
As the game neared its conclusion, we descended to the lower level for a swift exit and were once again surprised to see numerous paying fans outside the stadium, seated on the grass and sidewalks, watching the game on large outdoor TV screens. Exiting the stadium and heading to the parking lot in the final seconds of another disappointing Cowboys defeat, we passed numerous tailgaters sitting around their vehicles enjoying food, drinks, and, unsurprisingly, watching the game on their HD TVs powered by generators! These individuals lacked game tickets, which was the norm rather than the exception.
The stadium is truly remarkable. It exceeded all my expectations. It's massive, stunning, and spotless. If you desire to witness a venue filled with enthusiastic individuals and partake in one of the most significant spectacles in sports, then definitely purchase a party pass and explore the interior for a while. If you're tall and comfortable with standing still for 4-5 hours, you may even catch a glimpse of the game. However, if you seek to relish a football match and observe the players on the field, it's advisable to save up and invest in decent seats. Otherwise, the finest seats in Jerry's house are no different from those in your own house... around your TV.
